However, the material is made from pineapple leaves, a residual product from pineapple cultivation. For this reason, no additional substances are needed, such as water, fertilizer or pesticides for its production. The fibers of the pineapple leaves are washed, enriched with PU and dried in the oven. The result? Supple sheets of vegan imitation leather, which are then provided with a beautiful finish. After drying, a soft and attractive material with the properties of leather is created. It consists partly of fruit remains and partly of PU.
